Road Repaired

This is an addendum to my earlier post "Road-Rokho" (http://myshots4all.blogspot.com/2010/09/road-rokho.html).

This bye lane in Thoppumpady, was an example for incompetence and irresponsiblity of the local authorities. But it was repaired yesterda, 19th May 2011, giving much respite to the public.
But still the work of the canal is left unattended.

People's Action to Defeat a Negative Reaction

In Cochin, the people are fed up with so much of Hartals and Strikes. So they did not respond well to the call to a Motor Vehicle Strike called by Political parties. The main streets were almost abuzz with two wheelers and four wheelers.
